I could not get these sheep to look up for the photograph. They probably don't even notice the mountains in the background.
Old Murphy is the mascot for the Spud Drive-in in Driggs, Idaho. By the way, that big brown thing on the back of the truck is a giant POTATO!
I drove my Dad up a very rough trail to this overlook on the west side of Teton Valley. I set this shot up as a possibility for a photo contest where the theme was "freedom."
Life in the valley has been hard...
Perhaps it is fitting that my last shot from Idaho would be a sunset shot. We wrapped up the vacation on August 1st and headed back to Texas. Five weeks in Idaho and Wyoming and it was "grand" in every way. It was relaxing; it was exhausting; it was fun. And I can't wait for next year.... maybe eight weeks!
This old cabin in Swan Valley, Idaho, probably has seen many hard winters.
Independence Day wouldn't be complete without fireworks. This year the Teton Valley fireworks display was held at the Spud Drive-In.
